Desperate Housewifes

The series begins with the mysterious suicide of Alicia Oviedo, a neighbor of the Manzanares neighborhood. Alicia's suicide leaves behind an enigma that involves her husband Pablo and their son, René. The story unfolds through Alicia’s four friends and neighbors: Susana Martini, the single mother of a teenage girl, always chased by bad luck; Vera Sherer, a perfect housewife who tries to deal with her two rebellious children while fighting for her decadent marriage; the hard-working Lía Salgari, former successful executive turned into the mother of four real handfuls; and the beautiful Gabriela Solís, a former model married to a millionaire businessman, who apparently lacks nothing, but who needs to fill her inner emptiness... in this case, with the help of her young gardener.
