Martin Fierro, better known as "Fierro", is a butcher and a selfless father. Lucia, his wife, is a history teacher who left teaching fifteen years ago when his eldest son became blind and devoted her life almost completely to him and the family. Los Fierro have been married for 25 years and are still in love the first time, despite their differences. The most important thing in the life of the Fierro are his three children: Juan, Sandy and Lucho.
José María Fontana, Lucia's old boyfrind, returns to the country and offers Lucía a job in the Ministry of Education.
Lucia's need for independence and the jealousy of "Fierro" will turn against this happy marriage. And so, between constant discussions, fights and reconciliations, ruptures and reunions ... the Fierro, in their particular way, will fight to sustain their love, their partner and their family united against wind and tide.
